The Severn Clan
Inde to the Severn clam. The Severn family were living and working in Derbyshire as poor miners in the areas around Heanor and Shipley Wood. The pickings were better in South Yorkshire ad the mining companies needed men, so they provided transport costs, higher wages and houses for the families to live in.
